Kinemathek Karlsruhe

Karlsruhe, Germany was the fitting location for the European premiere of the film.  A significant portion of the film was shot in the city and several of the interviewees featured in the documentary are from the area.

The film was shown on Friday, May 16th with a second screening on Sunday, May 18th, 2025.

More than 100 people turned out for the two screenings at the Kinematek Karlsruhe including actress Marie-Laure Beck, who plays Aune Hartmann in the film.  It was the first time she has seen the movie.
